Scholarship Fund
An educational charity designed to advance the academic pursuits of employees and the children of employees who are employed by OPPAA member companies.
OPPAA Scholarship Application Deadline
All required information must be received no later than May 17, 2024. Scholarship recipients will be announced by June 30, 2024.
Scholarship Mission
The OPPAA Scholarship Fund provides educational scholarships annually, and maintains the endowment from which scholarship funds will be drawn. The fund is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, formed by OPPAA.
History
Since 2000, the fund has awarded over 75 scholarships totaling more than $163,000 to high school and college students. From the founding OPPAA members to active participants today – the history of the scholarship program is inspiring and designed to make an impact from the very beginning.
Eligibility
• OPPAA member employee must be working full time upon submission of the application on behalf of themselves or their children. Current part-time employees are only eligible for themselves.
• Full time employees’ children, stepchildren, adopted children and/or grandchildren.
• Current high school graduate, college undergraduate, or graduate student.
• The applicant must be planning to attend or already be enrolled in an accredited institution of higher learning.
• All required applicant information must be received by the requested date.
(Previous awardees are ineligible to apply.)
